I have worked as a Carer for the last 10 years also caring for my late grand mother who latterly suffered with dementia. During this time I have learnt a tremendous amount and added to my skill set. I have cared for the elderly along with people with special needs. I have in particular enjoyed working with older people as they have talked about history and their life experiences which I find fascinating.
