I have been described by my clients as having a natural and easy manner and warm and friendly personality. I try to create a relaxed environment and have a good sense of humour. I am the proud mother of 2 beautiful daughters and 2 adorable grandchildren. I am a sincere Buddhist practitioner and live within a Buddhist community. In the past I have worked within a hospital environment, nursing and care homes and over 10 years as a live-in carer. During the last 2 years my experience has been varied and spans between a companionship role, working with people with varying degrees and types of dementia to 'end of life' care. I am educated to a university level in Humanities, have a foundation diploma in Art, studied for 2 years on a teacher training course in Dru Yoga and have experience in Co- Councilling. I have been practising in Stroud as a self-employed Theraputic Massage and Alternative Therapist for over 25 years. I recently qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. I regularly visit my hometown in Stroud as my daughter recently moved back with her partner and children. I am very interested in the Arts, sustainable living and maintaining a healthy body and mind. I believe that my main strengths are that I am very compassionate, patient and reliable with the ability to adapt to most situations to suit my clients needs.
