I am a mum to 3 daughters and I have worked in the care sector for approximately 20 years - 18.5 years of are in childcare and 18 months is in adult care. I was fortunate enough to set up my own childminding business also. During the 20 years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. I have had hands on experience with stoma, PEG and catheter care, but do not have training certificates for these. My adult care experience has been in domiciliary care (care in the community) and nursing homes. I have also enrolled on Level 3 diploma in Dementia care to expand my knowledge further. Care work is so rewarding and I absolutely love my job.
