I am also experienced in using equipment such as a hoist, slide sheet, Zimmer frame, standing hoist, blood pressure monitoring, and BM monitoring. I keep an adequate work record and report to my line manager. This motivated me to understand better how a carer should be, gain first-hand experience through assisting the patients, and educate myself more on the type of medical assistance they require individually. Working within a multicultural organization has made me more conscious of the impact of cultural diversity on health and social care as a carer. I have acquired lifelong and transferable skills such as listening and treating everybody equally according to their needs. I am committed to the values of equality and diversity guidelines. I take great pride in my work and enjoy caring for elderly people. Hence, I always ensure I spend time with them and make them happy. I attend to their daily activities and empower them to be more independent. All rates are negotiable depending on the service users' condition.
