Professional - I have been caring for 30yrs, I'm very patient and understanding I get a rewarding feeling from helping others. I pride myself on taking my time to truly know and understand the care my client needs and deserves, I think about the care I would like for myself in years to come and how I would like to be understood by my carer. Family - I study sign language with my son as he has speech and language problems since young age and I've adapted into my professional experience. I also experience with anxiety and depression care and I've cared for my granddaughter who has cerebral palsy since birth. My sister has M.S which I've helped her with since she been diagnosed and I've studied to better understand how I could help her. Personal - In my spare time I like to go out for walks and read books. I enjoy cooking for myself and my family in previous care experiences I have had to cater to special dietary and lifestyle choices which I enjoyed adapting too.

Having gone through rigorous training and also having worked in care homes for over 6 years looking after children, young adults and the elderly, I see myself being confident and able to handle lone work as a self-employed individual. I am a compassionate and enthusiastic carer with a knack for taking care of the vulnerable ones in the comfort of their residences and also in the care homes. This aspect of my work ethics is very natural with me, having worked hand in hand with my mother who retired as a nurse. I had time to understudy her in how she helped the elderly ones during which we visited them in their homes and provided their personal needs ranging from personal care, administering medication, dressing their wounds and keeping them company, also with the practicals I undertook during my school days in the United Kingdom and partly during my stay over there . As it stands I look forward to doing that again because it makes me a fulfilled being seeing that I could render services to the elderly and the vulnerable ones empathetically and with compassion and make them happy. I can work conveniently alone with no supervision. Teamwork, honesty, kindness and empathy are my usual way of life. Some of my hobbies are Music and dance, research, cooking, exercise both indoors and outdoors, writing and presenting reports. My strength is tailored towards Kindness,effective communication, dedication to duty, never wanting to leave tasks uncompleted, I am trustworthy and reliable. Some of my attributes in offer are managing people, organizing, planning, taking initiative and effective communication and excellent report writing. I have acquired enough skills in moving and handling, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy(PEG) feed, Dementia care levels 1&2 to name but a few, mostly on complex care. I have done live-in care and domiciliary care with specialization in incontinence management and I can always prove my experiences in these areas. I had taken care of an individual with Last stage dementia and one with Parkinson's disease who used PEG to take medication. Finally I work hard to meet the satisfaction of my clients and my service users and also commit a lot of unsocial hours to my work ethics knowing full well that if there are no service users, I do not have a job.
