I enjoy helping others an making a positive difference in their lives. I have always been interested in work that involves helping others and making a positive impact. In the past, I have worked in different positions in customer service which helped me acquire the following skills: active listening, organization and time management which are all needed in my current job as a care assistant. I have been working as a care assistant for the past 3,5 years. I have an experience with different patients: people with dementia, paralysis, respiratory problems using AIRVO 2 machine, end of life and mental health. I have been trained and am using the appropriate equipment: hoist, Sara Stedy lift, walking frame, catheter and conveen sheaths. I am very passionate about being a caregiver and my positive cheery disposition makes me very much suited for this job. Recently , when I visited one of my patients in hospital, he told me he couldn't make it without my help and constant support and that I have never judged him and patiently explained everything to him whenever he needed it and always made him cheerful when he was down. I have always had a lot of positive feedback from my patients and their families as I am always trying to leave a smile on their faces whenever I see them.
