PA32 8XU 5985 Hi My name is Gary and I am originally from Scotland although I now work with clients all over the UK. After working for 12 years as a mental health support worker, I decided to broaden my horizons within the social care sector, and for the last 7 years have worked as a live-in carer. I work in a person-centred way with a broad range of clients including: physical disabilities, learning disabilities, Parkinson's, dementia, mental illness, palliative care and end of life care. I provide practical and emotional support to help people live a safe and independent life in their own home and community. This includes medication administration, personal care, continence care, moving and handling using hoists and other aids, cooking, cleaning and of course companionship. I am also happy to support clients to go on holiday at home or abroad (I have a wide experience of travel all over the world) I am an animal lover, so pets are no problem. I have an NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care, as well as a care certificate. I am fully vaccinated, including boosters.

PA15 1YD 228495 I have worked as a healthcare assistant and carer over the years. I started from care home , then moved to nhs. I was in the peak of Covid working as HCA in emergency department king’s college hospital in London. I decided to progress by enrolling to do nursing. At the moment, I am a second year student in adult nursing and I still work as carer at my leisure. It is my responsibility and duty of care to protect people I am caring for. I know that for anyone to depend on care services, the person must be vulnerable in one way or the other. However, everyone is different and persons centre care must be considered. Looking after people helps them to enjoy at least a bit of quality of life. Assisting either patients, client, resident most time prolong their lifespan. It is my duty of care to make sure people depending on my services have up to date assessments. They must have choices and liberty towards their desires. I have passion for my career. I am so in love with putting smile on people face base and getting positive feedback from them. I have done a lot of indoor trainings with king’s college hospital which they do not allow us to go with the certificate. They have issued me with my care certificate which covers the indoors trainings. I will be greatly grateful to work for you ( service users) and your families. However, I will make sure I make myself flexible to suit my service user. Your care is a priority. I believe that this is the right time to join as healthcare assistant or support worker, then come back in near future to practice as a registered nurse when I get my pin. Thanks

G63 0JQ 278751 I have worked in the care industry for over 3 years with both male and female clients. All my Care training has been refreshed on an annual basis. I treat all my clients as individuals and aspire to care for them with the best possible knowledge and care I can offer; consideration, dignity, compassion and patience as they all so rightly deserve. I have experienced clients with many different levels of care requirements to include: End of life, Cancer, Visual impairment and hearing difficulties, Mobility (mild to severe lower paralysis), Incontinence (urinary & bowel), Catheter & Stoma, Dementia (mild & advanced). My personal interests are nature & animals, gardening, music, oil painting & writing. I enjoy cooking (but probably better at baking), love to travel and presently chasing my 'bucket list'. By nature I am fairly easy going, not easily stressed, sympathetic and flexible.

FK19 8PB 289881 I’m kind, friendly, a good listener and enjoy working closely with others. I have 7 years experience working in the care industry. I work hard to know my clients, so I can help them enjoy their life in their own environment (at home). I have worked with people with cancer, stroke, dementia and I have provided end of life care. I also have experience with mental health, depression, cerebral palsy and MS. I have a full clean European driving license, I like taking clients out to meet friends or go shopping. I became a carer while I looked after my mother, after she was fully recovered, I decided to carry on, working as a live in carer to support who needs help. I love reading, especially fantasy novels and romance books. I have a lovely German shepherd and I love taking him for long walks. I enjoy TV shows and go out to cinemas. I’m looking forward to meeting you and working with you in the future.

Hello, my name is Kirsty from Oban Scotland currently living in Dunoon With 13 years of nursing experience, I have enjoyed caring for all age groups, from 16 years old to the older adult; with various disabilities and health issues. Changes to healthcare system over the years led to little or no job satisfaction, so I left to pursue a new career in as a naturopath and trauma counselling practitioner which I continue to practise part time. I miss the sense of fulfilment of physically/ emotionally caring for others. This is why I have come back to caring. My rates of pay are for basic care needs, with rates may needing to be increased depending on the of level of care required. Bank holidays are charged at time and a half. I am willing to drive to up to 20 miles for longer term assignments. I prefer to work around 16 hours each week and would consider extra, sleep overs I will consider. I have a young family so couldn't do live in however would consider being part of a small team to give clients comfort and the security of a regular team. I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including charge nurse post, care for the elderly, acute medicine, nurse bank, neuro-disability unit; in addition to a variety of hospital wards, Nursing homes and palliative care. For the past 22 years I have been a mother caring for my children, 2 of 3 have life long disability and are doing amazing with their physical and cognitive conditions we worked really hard and my daughter is now living with her partner doing very well. I am experienced in working with people who have had Stroke, TIA's, Asthma, Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Pulmonary Embolism, addictions, MS, Parkinson's, Head injuries, Various stages of Dementia, including Alzheimer's, Various Cancers, Diabetes, Huntington's, Anxiety, Depression. I refrain from clinical skills now however could alert services required when concern arises. I love learning, so I am usually completing one course or another. G81 5AJ 295285 I am a registered nurse with a vast experience in acute and community care setting which includes nursing home care . My long years of service have prepared me to work with different groups of patients and people with different health needs such the disabled, the elderly, dementia, autistic, challenging behaviour and those with some type of limitations in carrying out activities of daily living that need support but would like to continue living in their own homes. As a nurse I have appreciated the need for individualised care and working on one to one will give that opportunity to promote that aspect of nursing and giving the individual the respect to make choices and promote independence.
