I am a hardworking and reliable worker with a varied, proven experience, in family centred care and an exceptional contribution to positive teamwork and multi-disciplinary working Having previously worked as a healthcare assistant I also have vast experience in communicating with elderly people, their relatives, and other stakeholders. My duties as a healthcare assistant included supporting clients with their personal care needs, supporting with feeding clients, recordkeeping, offering recreational facilities and as far as possible promoting independence while following the stipulated care standards. I am a very empathetic person by nature. I am able to identify with and understand another person's situation and the emotions that they are going through in order to provide comfort and support. I am a good listener. I am able to interpret body language, social cues and patterns of behaviour which helps me to understand issues which clients finds difficult to discuss. I am very passionate about my job and always want to make a difference in somebody 's life in a positive way. I also hold a teaching degree which I obtained in Zimbabwe.  In my role as teacher I was responsible mainly for the learning and achievement of all pupils in my class/es ensuring equality of opportunity for all. I again worked  proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of my pupils. Most important I established a safe, purposeful, and stimulating environment for pupils learning. I look forward to hearing from you and hope to be able to assist you or your loved one.

DE6 3BQ 299518 I am a compassionate, dedicated individual who believes that every day offers an opportunity to bring joy, comfort, and a touch of creativity to those around me. My warm personality is complemented by a diverse set of hobbies that enrich my life and those I care for. I love curling up with a good book to explore new ideas, experimenting in the kitchen to create nourishing meals, enjoying peaceful walks that remind me to appreciate life’s simple pleasures, and engaging in board games that spark laughter and thoughtful conversation. Professionally, although I have been in care for less than a year back home and about three years here in the UK where I have worked in live in care, elderly supported living and domiciliary care in the community. My personal journey has deeply prepared me for this work. I have devoted myself to caring for a family member battling prostate cancer and early-stage dementia a role that has taught me resilience, empathy, and the profound impact of compassionate care. A day with me is filled with attentive listening, creative engagement, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those around me, ensuring that each moment is met with kindness and thoughtful support. I am currently learning to drive and I anticipate to have this passed towards the end of the year. I am currently looking for live in clients as I enjoy delivering that one to one care, I am happy to travel throughout the UK as long as travelling expenses are covered one way by my clients. When starting with a new client I prefer to have a settling in period after this time I discuss with my client/clients family members the period of care I can safely deliver as this depends on the clients condition. On my time off I can also offer sleeping nights shifts within my local area of Ashbourne. I am happy to arrange a Curam video call where we can discuss you care requirements in more detail.

ST17 9HW 106979 I've been a carer for 3 years now. I have experience with cerebral palsy, stroke, cancer, early stage dementia, parkinson, huntingdon, taking clients abroad, respite, hoisting etc. I can prepare healthy meals from scratch. I enjoy cooking wholesome traditional foods. Think one of my favourites is poached salmon. I'm happy to look after your cats. I'm a friendly person with a good sense of humour, a good listener and very honest and reliable. I believe I make a good carer because I am very patient and do not flap. I have done live in care but am happy to do domiciliary care in my area of Stafford although not able to work both ends of the day. Early mornings work well for me. I am looking for live in care work this can re regular or one work and I can accommodate 2/3 weeks on and 1/2 weeks off. During my down time from live in I am available for day time work in my area. I prefer to work with clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting. When working as a live in carer I prefer cats however I am comfortable in having dogs around the house. I have access to my own car and I am fully covered for business car insurance, I am happy to transport clients to and from appointments and local travel as long as travelling expenses are covered by the client. I prefer not to have wheel chairs in and out of my car. I love swimming, watching tennis and cricket. I like to keep up with current affairs. I am a confident driver with either manual or automatic cars. I enjoy making a difference to someone's life, perhaps this could be you?

DE12 6QY 26362 I have been in the Care Industry for about 12years +. At present I am working on behalf of the NHS for Pulse at Home as a Community Support Worker which I really enjoy. I have been doing this for just over 2 yrs now. My daily visits consist of personal care, showering, pad change, change from night wear to day wear, apply cream on body, do the beds, breakfast, give or prompt client to take medication as per Mar Chart or blister pack. Use thicker in drinks where needed, make lunch, tea, wash dishes, dry and put them away. Light house work. Put dirty washing in the machine. If client uses the commode or urine bottle, I can assist client to use them. Catheter care. Most importantly, prioritise my day so I can spend more time with the client chatting to them about their life, past history, about the family. What they like doing as a hobby etc. I always tell my client and family when I take care of a client, I always tell them that it's not about how I want thi gs done!! It's about my client and how they want things doing. About me, I love meeting people from all walks of life. Listen to their stories. I love animals and bird watching. Nature out there is so beautiful. I enyou socialising with my family. I have a large family and get together to Celebrate birthdays or any other occasion. I'm a bit of a television addict as I enjoy watching all the soaps, any animal programs. Love listening to radio 4 (The Archers) when I can. I have a fab sense of humour. I really enjoy going out for coffee and people watching. Love walking my dog. He really is a cutie pie. I'm sure he is half human. 😂😂 Watching chick flicks is my thing or and black and white films. You can't beat watching an Golden Oldie. I have worked in various hospitals, Russell's Hall Hospital - Dudly, Alexander Hospital Redditch, Coventry Hospital, Ripley Hospital, Ilkeston Hospital, Warwick Hospital which I thoroughly enjoyed every shift. I have work in Dialysis for 4yrs which was so interesting. At first I was very nervous but over came my fear after a few weeks. It's such an honour to help people who require help. I have been told many times from client families to clients themselves how I go above and beyond to look after and take care of the clients. I always tell them that the secret is, I look after my clients as I look after my parents and that way you can not go wrong!! Thank you kindly for taking time to read my profile.

Throughout the day, I ensure they stay active and engaged, whether it’s by going for a walk, enjoying a hobby, or having meaningful conversations. I’m also attentive to their health needs, ensuring medications are taken on time and meals are prepared with care.
