Ss2 6tj 139176 My name is Precious, I have worked with the elderly in a care home for 7 years that was from 2014 to 2021. Most of my patients had early and late stages of Dementia. From 2018 up to date I also worked in the community doing palliative care. I find this interesting because I get to meet different people from different cultures and backgrounds. During covid time I was motivated to start my nursing journey seeing how nurses helped a lot of people in such difficult times. I am currently studying access to nursing looking into starting University soon. Working in the community has taught me how to give person centred care. Besides personal care I can also provide other duties like shopping, washing and transportation. I come from a very strong Christian background and I enjoy going to church on Sundays. I would be very glad to provide my care services to the families in need of my help.

CM2 7JW 257948 I became a Carer because: My mom was a nurse and she always encouraged me to go into the care sector as i had a naturally compassionate personality which suited it. I enjoy building a bond with my customers and being there for them when they need me. I supported my grandfather who was diagnosed with Parkinson and Dementia. I took a mainly compassionate role to ensure to make sure that he always had someone to talk to and I would also assist him with personal care, medication and I would accompany him to hospital appointments in a professional capacity. I have worked as a flight attendant where I had to adhere to strict company guidelines as well as safety and security regulations and ensuring the passengers on board were taken care of. I am a proactive individual who is keen to develop my knowledge and gain new skills. I'm comfortable in using my initiative in different situations and I'm always willing to take responsibility.

CO7 0LX 218003 I'm a registered nurse from the Philippines where I had experienced in various areas like medical surgical ward, paediatric ward, dialysis centre and maternity centre, as Live-in carer, I had experienced in dealing with dementia, parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, brain injuries, motor neuron disease, respite care, paralysed both legs, overall I had a 3 years and 6 months experienced in different health care settings here in the UK.  I previously worked as support worker in different care homes via agency for 4 months.  Then I worked as health care assistant in Colchester Hospital for a year. And recently,  I  was the one who looked after a family member who is paralysed both legs, he has spinal injury with stoma and catheter. I am currently looking for live in positions where I can work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off at least. I do not mind working for a fixed period whether it a month or so. As I do not drive I am looking for clients that are near to good forms of public transport. I am happy to travel within 200 miles of Colchester area, travelling expenses would have to be covered by the client for 1 way journey. I am available for working public holidays these would be charged at a higher rate of time and half.
