My background being working in the restaurant in the front of the house however, I have a good cooking skills due to be working in the kitchen as well. The customer service always being on my first place and looking after the people. I have experience of recovering my father after the stroke. I made a stroke rehabilitation plan for my father which was involved physical activities, motor-skill exercices, mobility training, constraint-induced therapy (restrained therapy), range of motion therapy. It helped him to recovered after hemorrhagic stroke. Doctors told to my mother he will be not able to get to the bathroom. Right now on he does 15k steps per day + 4 hours different kind of exercises per day on daily rutine. I am currently working as a support worker, supporting people who have learning disabilities and mental health concerns. I am passionate about enabling my clients to live life to the fullest and being as independent as their condition allows. This role allows me to work with people who require very little support day to day, such as finances and shopping as well as people who require full 24-hour packages with two support staff. Throughout my varied career, I have completed care-related NVQ level 3 qualifications and I have become competent and confident in the following skills: -Palliative care -Medication administration -Accurate record -Keeping and auditing of documentation -Writing and reviewing care plans as part of a multidisciplinary team I have been trained for individual clients by a district nurse for: - Stoma care; - Hoisting; - Soft& bite -sized food preparations; - Swimming for special needs people. I have my own car which has business insurance allowing me to take clients out if they do not have access to their own transport. My car has enough space for a manual wheelchair if required. This could be useful if the client would like to go shopping, do any activities or want to access outdoor spaces for exercise in the fresh air. I consider myself to be a very sociable and freindly person and really like to support different individuals. I love to cook and I eat a well-balanced diet myself. I would be more than happy to help with health cooking for anyone who requires this assistance. I am passionate about my job and how I can have a positive impact on other people's lives. I am a very trustworthy and reliable person. The rates I have stated are subject to change based on individual client circumstances. Please get in touch if you need any kind of care or support. NO JOB IS TO SMALL FOR ME.

BH12 5HT 262948 I have worked in Care for 10 years and realised that this is where I find the most joy meeting clients and learning more about them. By doing so, I am able to provide the best experiences for them to enjoy their interests and hobbies, making them feel like they are in control of their day to day choices. My first exposure to Care was when I volunteered a Care Home in Chile where we spent our time assisting with meals, feeding, clearing up, then doing activities such a playing games, knitting, crafts, also manicures for the ladies and nail cutting for the men. This was the deciding point in my life where I realised my passion is to Care for individuals, always trying to make it fun and varied. I am very patient and accommodating, always keeping the next person in mind. Having done all levels of training in the industry, I can utilise those skills to ensure I complete my tasks safely and effectively. I like to approach my Care as if I am caring for my own Mom and Dad, I would do anything to ensure they are well cared for and lack for nothing. I have worked with clients with Alzheimers and Dementia, Parkinsons, Stroke and challenged mobility. I have assisted clients in end of life care and ensured the family was kept informed at all times. In all these cases I work well with third parties, GPs, Physiotherapists, District Nurses, Palliative team, Specialist therapists (speech) My typical day would be ensure my client is assisted with their personal care and is well groomed. I am able to provide a nail cutting services and make sure they look their best, ensuring they have been given the choice of what they would like to wear. I would then prepare any meals, administer medication and ensure there are sufficient drinks so they stay well hydrated through the day. I am more than happy to then complete any home chores, put on the washing, change bedding, hoover, empty bins, and ensure the home is pristine. If I need to leave a snack for later, that will be left ready for when required. If the client is wanting to go out to any activities, or to do some shopping, I have a full clean driving licence and will happily take my client out to their favourite coffee shop for their most enjoyed treats. Before I became a Carer, I worked in Regulation in an office environment, and since I have done Care, it has made me realise how valuable and precious our lives are and to be able to give the next person the opportunity to live their lives their way and to the make it as fulfilling as possible. I love entertaining, cooking and travelling, which is another way to meet people from all walks of life, discover the interesting foods they eat, and just to learn about the history of their country. This has proved beneficial being a Carer because I can always share my travel stories and prepare meals differently to make it all the more interesting. Having "crafternoon" sessions, is another way I enjoy engaging with my clients ensuring they are improving their fine motor skills, it improves their self esteem and will bolster their mood. It is always lovely to have a sense of achievement. I would love to hear from you, so do get in touch. Thank you.
